FAQ
How does the Portus Language Club work?
Currently, there are two main activities: A Spoon of English and ¡Ay, el Español! . In both cases, I select a text, video or any content that will work as a guide for our conversations. You must arrive to the encounter with the material read/watched. During the activity, first we will have a warm-up moment, which is also a chance to get to know each other and relax a bit and then we discuss the material.
How is the material selected?
I try to always select texts, videos or other contents that can be read/watched in a short time, as I know we unfortunately don’t have so much time to engage on extended content. As our purpose is to talk, I also select content that can help us discuss about different ideas.
Is there a membership fee?
At the moment, the activities are free, but in the near future I will bring some workshops for those who are interested in improve skills as pronunciation, writing, etc., and I am also thinking about creating different types of activities which will might have a cost associated to it. Stay tuned for them!
