Hello! I am Mayara Novais, a Brazilian living in Madrid for almost 7 years and a lover of learning languages and reuniting with people to share ideas, knowledge and have interesting debates. It was with all of that in mind, besides a professional interest for Community Building and Mediation, that I have created Portus.

My desire is to have a safe space for all of those who are learning a new language and want to practice it in an informal environment, by socializing, having fun and also learning one or two things about culture, society perspective and other subjects that may come up.

Right now, Portus Language Club is on its first breath, but soon you see it getting shape and offering you more tools for your process of learning a new language. So, I hope you stay here for a time and grow this space with me.
